Application:

DynaMesh®-PP mesh implants, light and standard version, can be used for all common open and laparoscopic techniques of inguinal or incisional hernia repair, e.g.:

  • Lichtenstein technique or TIPP,
  • transabdominal preperitoneal herniaplastic (TAPP) or
  • total extraperitoneal herniaplastic (TEP)
  • further onlay- and sublay-techniques

DynaMesh®-PP should explicitly not be used with the intraperitoneal onlay mesh technique (IPOM), because direct contact to the intestine may cause adhesives. For IPOM-technique special DynaMesh®-IPOM implants are available.

DynaMesh®-PP will be selected from the delivery program according to the size of defect and can be cut to individual size outside the operation field.

Material:

DynaMesh®-PP products consist of 100% Polypropylene monofilaments. They meet the requirements on modern mesh implants and offer the following advantages due to their special knitted structures:

  • Excellent bio-compatibility
  • Very good ageing resistance
  • Excellent memory effect
  • Optimal dynamometrical properties
